Happy Father’s Day
Every year we celebrate Father’s Day on the third Sunday in the month of June. It is celebrated to praise and respect fathers. It was first observed by Dr. Robert Webb of West Virginia at the central Methodist Church of Fairmont on July 5, 1908. The word ‘father’ is one of the words that arise out of their mouth after the child is born. This is a symbol of endless confidence in the child. Father is one of the most important members of the family. He is the one who takes care of the whole family including his own parents, wife, and children.
A father is the one who maintains strict discipline between the family members and is looked upon with respect by everyone. He shows the right path to his children and inspires them to achieve the goals of their lives through proper education. A father is the one who stands rock solid beside his family and protects them from the troubles of society. He acts as the root of his family and fixes each member with love and respect. On this day children buy gifts for their fathers or treat them to special things like greeting cards, dinner at a fancy restaurant or sponsor a vacation, etc.
