TEACHERS DAY
Teacher’s day is celebrated every year on the 5th of September in India. Our prior President, Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan was born on 5th of September so Teacher’s Day in India is being celebrated on his birthday because of his love and affection towards the teaching profession. He was a great disciple of education and highly famous as the scholar, diplomat, teacher, and President of India. He served as the first Vice-President of India and also as its second President. He was very dedicated towards education and well known as the scholar, diplomat, President of India and most importantly a Teacher. The Teacher’s Day is dedicated to all teachers celebrated every year to honour the teachers and appreciate their special contributions towards education.
Now a day, it is celebrated with the big enthusiasm and joy in the schools, universities, colleges and other educational institutions by both students and teachers. Students are given a lot of wishes to their teachers about long life. In modern time, the celebration strategy of the teacher’s day has been standard. On Teachers, Day students organize several events to their teachers.
