Dussehra
Dussehra is a festival celebrated every year by the Hindu people all over the country. It falls every year in the month of September or October before 20 days of the Diwali festival.
This occasion is celebrated by the Hindu people in the happiness of winning of god Rama over the devil king Ravana. This festival indicates the victory of goodness over evil power. The day Lord Rama got the victory by killing the king Ravana started celebrating as the Dussehra festival by the people from ancient time with great enthusiasm and love.
Further, people celebrate this festival with various rituals and pooja ceremony. Religious people keep fast for the whole day & some devotees keep fast to only first & last day, however, some people keep fast for all nine days to get blessings & power from Goddess Durga. It is the occasion of gathering and makes the festival memorable.
