World Health Day
In our country, world health day is celebrated every year on 7th April. It is celebrated under the leadership of the World Health Organization. In the year 1948, first time World Health Assembly was held in Geneva by the WHO where it was decided to celebrate World Health Day annually on the 7th of April. Globally, World Health Day was first celebrated in the year 1950. Varieties of events related to the particular theme are planned on the international and national levels by the WHO. It is worldwide celebrated by the government of all participant countries, NGO’s and other organizations. Health consultants from different countries participate in the celebrations with their pledges to support health issues worldwide. World Health Organisation (WHO)’s foundation was put on the principle that all humans understand their right to the highest possible level of health.
